Last Friday I put Baker in his high chair and walked to the counter to get a fork to cut up his food. I turned around to look at him and he had stood up in his high chair and I could see that the tray was not locked into place. He was very proud of himself too. I said sit down and started toward him. Before I could get there he dove out of his high chair head first. I have no idea how he did not land directly on his head or how he didn't get hurt. After a few tears from being scared, he calmed down and is completely fine. I, on the other hand, and not sure I'm ever going to be ok.
Roger was about an hour and half away taking his Medical Board Exam and I did not want him to know and be worried, and not be able to concentrate on his exam. The afternoon went slow waiting for him to be home. When he got home Baker was laughing, clapping, crawling all around and acting just like his normal self.
I had Bible Study that night and needed it! It was good to just have Bible Study but also good to hear everyone else's scary mommy/daddy story, and they all had one.
Now, I'm just thankful we all it made it through this adventure, and I'm sure there will be a ton more scary moments ahead of us.

I am SO sorry to hear about his fall. But I am so happy that you had a chance to go to Bible study where you heard that you weren't alone. You're right, everyone has those stories! You are a wonderful mom and I love you!
Poor guy! Yep, mine have done the same thing and I felt terrible, but they survived and learned to not ever do that again. There are times when "reality" is the best teacher :)
