4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we went to the local baseball game. Kannapolis has a single A baseball team, The Kannaoplis Intimidators. It was a really fun night. We went with Mike and Meredith. We ate ball park food. Our team won. And, we finished off the night with a a great fireworks show.

Mandy's Wedding

My coworker Mandy got married last Friday night. Mandy looked beautiful and I had a blast dancing the night away with all of my teacher friends.

Baker Beach Week 09

This past week we headed to Ocean Isle for our annual beach week with Renn's side of the family. We laid out, played golf (well the guys did, rode the boat, did puzzles, ate great food, read books just for fun, shopped at the outlets, and did a lot of relaxing. We had a GREAT time and are counting down until next years Baker Beach Week!!

HOCKEY

Saturday night we went to the Hurricane's/Penguin's Playoff game. We went with Darcen and Susan. Darcen and Susan know way more about hockey than we do, but I think we had just as much fun. I was especially excited to take everyone to Chargrill before the game. Chargrill has been apart of my life forever. I went on dates with my daddy there, my whole family enjoyed a chargrill burger and milkshake when we were in Raleigh. Then in college Chargrill could make any day better. Roger had heard me talk about Chargrill many times, but had never experienced it.

The Hockey Game!! The crowd was so into the game, we had a great time. And although we lost, we got to see some of the best players in the world (so i was told), from the other team score.

Mother Daughter Retreat

2 weekends ago, I went home to play with my mama. Friday night my home church was doing a mother daughter retreat. We had a lot of fun, heard great speakers, and learned a lot.

Wyatt and Kori's Wedding

This weekend we went to the mountains for Wyatt and Kori's wedding. Kori was in Roger's med school class and started dating Wyatt while we were all in Greenville. We were very excited to get to be there on their special day.

Hotdogs and Hamburgers. Kori and Wyatt grilled out for the reception and we laughed that this is one of the few weddings that we didn't talk about where we were going to stop and eat when it we left. We left this wedding full and happy.
