Bouncy Slide...the kid was in heaven

First face painting

Mrs. Lindy has been Baker's gymnastics's teacher since we started almost 2 years ago.  He LOVES her.  Her last day was last week.  We sure are going to miss her.

In our homemade ball pit

This kid can sleep anywhere.  She is so different from Baker who would only sleep in his crib.

Baker's at the dentist.  No Cavities!

Hanging out

Nanny came and stayed with us for 10 days and we had so much fun!

Building stuff

Baker has been asking to take a bath in the sink like Elliott for weeks, so I finally let him.

Elliott's Baby Dedication

Sunday we participated in baby dedication for Elliott.

With baby dedication we as parents commit to raising our child in a godly home and ask that the church commit in praying for and supporting us on this journey.

We feel like Elliott is on loan to us from God, and its our responsibility to get her ready for when its time to meet Him face to face again.  Since that just feels like a huge responsibility, its nice to have committed it all to God and to know we have Christian friends praying for us and loving on our baby too.

Dinner Theater

Speaking of theater (see last post)
I really love it.  The same theater that had the Cat In The Hat, has adult shows too.

For the last 2 years we have gotten season tickets, but this is the first time I've actually had a picture taken to blog it.  There are 4 musicals a season.  Our friends the Parkers have gotten season tickets too, so we get to go on a double date with them each time there is a new show.

It is a dinner theater, so we have dinner, dessert and a fun show.

We've seen The Sound of Music, In The Heights, Forever Plaid, Legally Blond, Shrek, Yeah Yeah Yeah, Les Miserables, South Pacific, and have Spamalot left this season.

We will move during the next season, so this is the last season ticket we will get.  I have loved getting to hang out with our friends, and get to see such fun shows.

Here we are at dinner with the Parkers.

Cat In The Hat

We took Baker to see the Cat In The Hat at a theater in Fort Collins.
It was a 30 minute play.  It was right on his level and he loved it.
We all loved it actually, even Elliott.

More Baker Says

Today in the car on the way home from pre-school one of the little kids music CDs we have was playing in the background.

The song that was on was "Give Me Oil In My Lamp"
The third verse says

"Give me peace in my heart, keep me resting
Give me peace in my heart, I pray
Give me peace in my heart, keep me resting
Keep me resting 'til the break of day"

I didn't even know Baker was listening to the music when he said;
"Mommy I dont' like this song.  I do not want Geese in my heart.  I will not pray that.  I do not like Geese."

Baker Stuff

Baker:  Mommy I want your belly to get big again.
Me:  Why?
Baker:  I really like Elliott we need 100 of her

Apparently Baker is trying to be toddler worship leader at church.
A few Sundays ago on the way to church out of the blue he said
"We don't sing in my Sunday School class, I am going to make them sing today"
and apparently he did because when I picked him up after church the teacher said
"We really sang a lot today, Baker really wanted to sing."
then yesterday on the way to church he said
"I've got some new songs to teach my Sunday School class today"
