We have started getting ready for Christmas around here.
1st I got a text that looked like this...
So we are stepping up the outside lights a little this year.
We pulled out Baker's tree that Nanny made last year
We aren't worried about Baker trying to pull on the tree this year, and Elliott is too little to mess with it yet, so we put up a big tree this year.
That meant, the little tree, we used on a table the last 2 years didn't have a place.
While Baker was taking a nap, Roger put it in Baker's room, and plugged it in.
When he woke up he told us Santa had come and brought him a tree.
Every time Baker comes back into the living room and sees the big tree lit up he proclaims, with hand gestures that "It's Beautiful"
Starbucks had free kids hot chocolate one day so Baker had his first Starbucks, and it was in a Christmas cup.
We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Baker told me his Christmas list so I could write it down.
We also had breakfast at the club on base and got to see Santa
Made some ornaments
The Nativity looked a little off one day
We are busy finishing all of the decorating inside and out, singing and dancing to Christmas music, And enjoying the season.
I think Christmas is going to be a lot of fun this year.

My mom came to visit for 10 days and we had a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures from when she was here.
We made Elliott pose for pictures
and in my old outfits
with her brother in Christmas PJs
and had fun with a jack in the box monkey
that thing never ever gets old
and did crafts
and made a wreath for the front door
We miss Nanny already.

Yesterday was Halloween.
Baker was Superman and Elliott was Wonder Woman.
This was the first time Baker really got the whole trick or treat thing. The first year he wasn't even a year and was too young to get it and then last year he was sick on Halloween and we didn't get to trick or treat. But this year, he understood it and LOVED it. I'm not sure anything can top it. Really, what is better than going from house to house and having people give you candy just because you are cute. He has already asked if we can go trick or treating today when daddy gets home from work. HA!
In the afternoon we went to Roger's work. The medical clinic transforms and opens for the community to come trick or treating.
Then in the evening we trick or treated at all of the neighbor's houses.
Baker liked this part the most!
WHOA!!! Look at all that Candy!!
I think Baker would say this was pretty much the best day ever.
